Payzli POS Inventory provides a centralized solution for adding and updating products, along with managing product categories (including updates and deletions). Additionally, you have the capability to add and manage suppliers, including updating and deleting their information.
To add a new product:
- Access Administration from the main menu of your Payzli POS account.
- Select Inventory from the left navigation.
- By default, you will land on Products tab where you can see exiting products available for the branch.
- To add a new Product, click + Add New, which will open a slide-out panel on the right.
- Fill out the following details:
- Product Category: Dropdown to select the appropriate category for the product.
- Product Name: Enter product name.
- Product Code: Specify product code, a unique product identifier similar to SKU.
- Description: Brief description of the product.
- Select Branch where the product will be offered. Selecting branch will additionally show the following fields:
- SKU Number: Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), a unique identifier of product.
- Model number: Model number to differentiate between different variations of the product.
- Supplier: Supplier name.
- Product Cost: Product’s unit cost, excluding shipping and tax.
- Sales Price: Product’s selling price.
- Commission Percentage: Commission percentage to the business.
- Status: A toggle option to switch between Active and Inactive. You can use this temporarily remove the product from a branch.
- Manage Stock: A toggle option to switch between Yes and No.
- No indicates, there is sufficient quantity and alert mechanism is not required. And, Yes indicates the need to monitor stock levels. When enabled, Inventory Low Threshold check alerts will let you know to replenish.
- Once completed, click Add to proceed; otherwise, click Cancel.
