Add Product Category

Payzli POS Inventory provides a centralized solution for adding and updating products, as well as managing product categories and suppliers. Organizing products into categories offers several advantages. Firstly, it improves the customer experience by grouping products logically, making it easier for customers to find what they need. For instance, a shopper looking for a gift for their toddler can easily navigate to the Kids’ section. Without categorized products, customers may struggle to locate items efficiently. Secondly, categorization facilitates targeted marketing and advertising, allowing businesses to tailor their promotions to specific customer segments. For example, a company serving both men and women can create separate categories for each gender and customize advertisements for occasions like “Father’s Day” or “International Women’s Day.” And for customers who prefer not to be categorized, there’s always the option of celebrating “Just Be Yourself” Day!

To add a new product category:

  1. Access Administration from the main menu of your Payzli POS account.
  2. Select Inventory from the left navigation and you will land on the Products tab.
  3. Head to Product Categories tab, where you can view existing categories
  4. Select + Add New to view the slide-out panel on the right to add Category Name.
  5. Once done, click Create to proceed; otherwise, click Cancel.

View Product Categories

  1. Access Administration from the main menu of your Payzli POS account.
  2. Select Inventory from the left navigation and you’ll land on the Products tab
  3. Head to Product Categories to view existing categories.
